The Treasury was designed around the things a gentleman actually carries rather than everything a leather goods company might find room for.
Compact, purposeful and deliberately restrained, it keeps the essentials organised without becoming an object that needs organising itself.
Small things should still be made properly.

The design of The Treasury is intentionally economical.
Every pocket has a purpose. Every line is considered. Nothing has been added simply to create the impression of greater complexity.
The result is an object whose simplicity is precisely the point.

The Treasury is handcrafted by skilled artisans from vegetable-tanned leather selected to develop a rich patina through handling and use.
As the leather softens and darkens, the piece becomes increasingly individual to the gentleman carrying it.
The more it is carried, the more it becomes yours.
RECORDED BY THE HOUSE

Only twenty Founders Issue Treasuries will be made. Each is individually numbered, giving every piece its own identity within the collection.
The unique Founders Issue code is stamped discreetly onto the piece itself and recorded on its accompanying Certificate of Authenticity.

The same number is recorded in the Balfour Cairns House Register alongside the year of issue and original Registered Owner, establishing a permanent record of the piece's provenance.
Once FI.03.20 has been issued, the Founders Issue Treasury is closed.
It will not be repeated.
