FOUNDERS ISSUE I

This first Founders Issue is limited to fifty individually numbered cuffs worldwide.

Each piece is issued by the House, recorded in the Balfour Cairns register and authenticated through an embedded Valuebond chip.

This Founders Issue is the only time the Gentleman’s Cuff will appear in black-on-black leather with black stitching.

Once these fifty examples are spoken for, the edition will not be repeated.

A PROPERLY MADE OBJECT

Each cuff is constructed slowly through more than sixty individual processes.

• Shell Cordovan leather.
• Hand cast 925 Sterling silver.
• Both edges of the cuff are hand
  burnished to a mirror finish. No edge paint. This process alone requires nearly five hours of work.

Every cuff is completed, inspected and individually numbered before leaving the atelier.

BENJAMIN’S POCKET

Hidden within the cuff is a discreet compartment known as Benjamin’s Pocket.

Inside sits a single $100 bill. Not for spending.
For solving a small problem at precisely the right moment.

A quiet tradition of the gentleman adventurer.

ISSUED BY THE HOUSE

Each Founders Issue cuff is accompanied by a Warrant of Issue, confirming its number and custodian.

Every piece is recorded in the House register.
